BUILDING A BETTER ARIZONA FOR NATIVE AMERICANS, ONE DONATION AT A TIME.

  • Imagine being an Elder who has worked hard your whole life, only to now face the impossible choice between buying food or paying for medicine. Imagine living miles from the nearest grocery store, with no car and no way to get the fresh, healthy food your body needs.

For too many Native American Elders, this is daily life.

Food insecurity is nearly 3 times more likely to affect Native Americans than Whites. Many reservations are food deserts, where fresh produce is a luxury, and the nearest grocery store is hours away. Generations of government policies have stripped Native communities of their traditional food sources, replacing them with unhealthy rations that have led to high rates of diabetes and other health issues.

    But you can change this.

Through the Emergency Food Box Program, Partnership With Native Americans® (PWNA) delivers nutritious, life-sustaining food to Elders who need it most. Last year, because of compassionate people like you, 41,700 pounds of food made it into the hands of Elders struggling to put meals on their tables.

Now, as Arizona Gives Day approaches, we need your help more than ever.

  • $25 helps provide food staples for an Elder
  • $50 supports emergency food deliveries to remote communities
  • $100 funds long-term food security initiatives

Your kindness can fill empty pantries. Your generosity can bring hope. Your gift today means an Elder won’t have to go to bed hungry tomorrow.
