Keely Birdtail, a Cherokee Comanche woman from Indiana, traveled to eastern Arizona to raise awareness about Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIW/MMIC/MMIP). She founded a motorcycle group called Missing One Society, which supports Indigenous families with missing loved ones.

Birdtail’s journey led her to the San Carlos Apache Reservation, where she met with the family of Emily Pike, a young Indigenous woman whose murder remains unsolved. Birdtail believes Emily’s case could unify tribes and spark broader efforts to address similar tragedies.

Drawing from her experience mentoring Native youth in detention centers, Birdtail aims to start grief counseling and life coaching programs. She emphasizes that real change requires collective action.

Call to Action:
A $175,000 reward is being offered for information about Emily Pike’s case. Tips can be submitted to the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
